Dates and Format

This is the 29th instance of the annual ICFP Programming Contest. The contest will run from Friday July 24th at 12:00 UTC to Monday July 27th at 12:00 UTC. There will be a 24-hour lightning round ending Saturday July 25th at 12:00 UTC. The contest will take place online.

Winners will be announced at ICFP 2026 in Bloomington, Indiana.

While ICFP is typically focused on functional programming, your TAs for this year aim to introduce you to the basics of real-world systems programming. See the course description for more on what we'll cover.
